And we had our first meeting with Ellie, one of their fantastic sitters, on a night where I wanted to extend a work event into a date night with P.J.- which was so easy to do on the app. Win/win/win. The day before Ellie came over, she called to briefly introduce herself and then texted the morning of to say she was excited to meet us all. And- hoo boy, were my kids stoked to meet her! (Well, all but Jasper, who faceplanted into sleep during dinner and missed the whole evening.)
On our return, we were informed that all went exceptionally well. The next morning? Suzy and Nora gave four thumbs way up (Jasper was sleepily confused), and Suzy told us that Ellie told awesome stories “from her brain.”
High marks from this crew.
