Eating Apples In A Field. (Etc.)

First things first: welcome to my new bloggy home. (Yay, WordPress!) Nicer neighborhood, same shabby wicker furniture. Thanks to Vanita at The Strategic Mama for making the move so awesome. She’s good people. (She’s patient people, people.)

And thanks to P.J. for helping me do such important things like tweak color choices. Because- I never promised to be the easiest wife to deal with at midnight.

Second things…third, I guess. (Math!) It is now officially Fall. So we celebrated by eating everything (seasonal) not bolted down. We started at the Lincoln Square Apple Festival for pie, more pie, face painting, and a bouncy slide. (That P.J.)

Then, after a brief nap- P.J.– we headed to Indiana to pick apples at our new favorite place, County Line Orchard. The girls were super for serious into the whole “apple picking” process, which to them meant “picking an apple, taking a bite, deciding whether or not to put said apple in the bag, and repeating the process nine billion times.”

I think we came home with maybe seven apples.

Success.
