A Sticky Recap.

So what do you do when you can’t seem to find those prefabricated gingerbread house kits- and you’re quite certain you won’t be allowed to have your third child until you make a gingerbread house with your children- and you know you’re running out of time for Festivities?

Why, you head to your neighborhood bodega. Except, being a bodega, it doesn’t possess crazy things like graham crackers. So you buy impossibly small Mexican cookies and a bucket of something that, anywhere else, would be called gumdrops…and YOU BUILD SOME SMALLISH HOUSES.

And they’re awesome.

Serious stuff.

Don’t mind if I do.

Now, onto this week’s recap.

Boy, I Had A Lot To Say This Week:

Last Wednesday night, my review of The Goodman’s A Christmas Carol went live at The Little Style File. (Good Lord, I have the best job ever.)

I discussed/whined about sleep on Thursday.

On Monday, I extolled the awesometude of my fabulous friends– and frozen food showers.

In the midst of all my holiday prep, I took a second to complain at Families In The Loop about how the holidays start TOO EARLY, DAMMIT.

And, for your listening/viewing enjoyment, here’s the Clever Girls Network’s (one of the companies for whom I work) video holiday song and card. You can kinda hear my alto part throughout…but about halfway through you should look for one (big) elf and her two adorable elf helpers dancing along. Just sayin’.

Merry Wednesday, y’all.
