New Pearachute deals, just in time for summer (camp)!

Disclosure: As a Pearachute ambassador, I’m happier than a kid with a new box of sidewalk chalk to share our Chicagoland adventures with this marvelous activity-tastic app. Although I’m being compensated, all thoughts, opinions, and introverted children are entirely my own.

Hey, it’s totally almost summer! (Get back to your desk- I said almost.)

Thinking about camps and classes for your little ones? You are so not alone. And the good folks at Pearachute have you covered with new membership options and new discounts when you use the code name of yours truly. (No, it’s actually KEELY, because I enjoy shouting my savings.) Before I give you the new membership plan deets (which encompasses the new suburban class options, too!!), take a gander at what we’ve been up to for the past few weeks:

Pearachuting across town

Plant Art at Easel Art Studio– I am so in love with this place. The quality of the projects the kids take home is mantel-worthy, honest to gosh it is. And Miss Jess was so much fun that even Jasper, who hates group activities prefers to do his own thing, was engaged and even cheerfully following instructions. They made this ceramic and oil pastel cactus, you guys… (We loved it so much that we went back two weeks later for Venus Flytrap Day!)

Family Open Play at Kids Island– Indoor sandbox. Clean indoor sandbox with post-play air hoses to keep your kids clean, too. There’s a toddler swing in the (large) sandbox, and kitchen playthings galore. (Jasper’s not really sure what else you need to know, here. SANDBOXES AND SWINGS AND KITCHEN PREP.)

Little Wing at School of Rock– Oof, you haven’t lived until you’ve seen your 4 and 6-year old girls destroy drum solos (and a few eardrums). This exceptional (drop-off!) class for tinies is taught by the kind of guys you’d expect to wait in line at Double Door to see- with patience that rivals your Grandma’s.

Superhero Training at POW– Yep, Zu wanted back in at fantastic facility. (This time, they taught her to scale walls.)

Master ARTists at The Paintbrush– If there’s an art class within the city proper, you bet your palette we’re gonna find it. Another drop-off, another gorgeous, mixed media art project to take home. (Complete with art history lesson! Come on, guys. You’re totally making me obsolete, here.)

Birds & Bunnies Open Play at Happy Play Cafe– And while the sisters are at art class…little man J came back here to do what he does best: blow kisses at the bunnies, send small cars down the wraparound marble run, and mow the fake lawn with a tiny lawnmower. Live your truth, Jasper.

Mixed Media at Easel Art Studio– Oh yes, our beloved Easel Art Studio has drop-off classes for not only Nora, but Susannah, too! (One member of the party was beyond stoked at this arrangement; the other was quietly accepting.) The layered campsites these two came home with were so beautiful that I immediately stripped the current fridge artwork to feature these ones front n’ center. Yes, you read that right.

Stomp & Shout– Logan Square- Drumsticks, disco lights, and wonderfully tolerant musicians (who don’t mind when a certain boy child does his- ahem– own thing again) make for a great mixed-age class that gives me hope for my son’s future activity level.

Zu was there, too. She had a rotten time.

And now for the new plan levels! (Hey pals with current memberships: You’re locked into your plan for as long as you’d like! And if you freeze it- and then come back- still the same plan for the takin’.) A 3 pack for $39 (because this is truly a great way to pick n’ choose just a few classes each month!), a 6 pack for $79, and an unlimited plan for $129 are the new offerings- and with each plan, you get to go everywhere. Your ballerina wants to try swimming next week? Your artist have a penchant for Mandarin? What used to be a scheduling (and financial) headache is now oh-so-doable.

But I can do you one better.

If you use the code KEELY at checkout, your first month can look like this: a 3 class plan for $15, a 6 class plan for $30, and an unlimited plan for $50. (Guys, hundreds of activity options for these prices? Ridic.)

Sign up now and join me in creating completely unique (and flexible!) “summer camps” for each child. See you in the sandbox, kiddos!

(Jasper will be sitting slightly off to one side.)
