Pearachute: Crazy amount of classes edition.

Disclosure: As a Pearachute Ambassador, it’s my business to tell you all about the classes, activities, sports, and play times in the greater Chicagoland area. (And business is GOOD.) Although I’m being compensated, all thoughts, opinions, and children with a ridic set of new skills are entirely my own.

Friends! Summer’s winding down and Fall is gearing up! Whether you’re looking forward to the return to normalcy/sanity, or if you’re of the school of thought that zero scheduling is the path towards a happy brain, I think we can all agree: your kids need stuff to do.

For fun, I thought I’d offer up the sheer body count of classes my kids have dug, leapt for, and twirled through since we joined Pearachute this past February.

Numbers

1 Family Memberships

3 Enrolled Kiddos

More numbers

Martial arts we’ve punched through (Krav Maga and Jiu-jitsu): 4 (Suzy would like that number to be way higher, thankyouverymuch.)

Music we’ve gone triple-octave for (musical theatre, songs & story time, guitar, and snare drum lessons): 15

Sports we’ve totally scored (soccer, swimming, yoga, ballet, modern dance, and hip hop): 17

Art that would make others green with envy (includes art history, mixed media, oil painting, and sewing): 22

Open play we’ve openly adored (from the West Loop all the way up to Evanston): 29

That averages out to 29 classes per kid in the last 6 months. And- ready for this? We traveled for a goodly portion of the spring and roughly half of the summer. But the times we were in town- whoo boy, we made it work for us.

Ready for even cooler numbers?

$39 gets you a 3 pack of classes (because this is truly a great way to pick n’ choose just a few classes each month!), a  $79 brings in 6, and an unlimited plan is yours for $129– and with each plan, you get to go everywhere. Your drummer  wants to scale pound soccer balls next week? Your fine artist have a hankering for swimming? What used to be a scheduling (and financial) headache is now oh-so-doable.

But I can do you one better.

If you use the code KEELY at checkout, your first month can look like this: a 3 class plan for $15, a 6 class plan for $30, and an unlimited plan for $50. (So. Many. Classes.)

Go get started on your own numbers- and meetcha at open play.

(I’ll be the mama with 1 cup of coffee, 1 paperback, and 3 kiddos who’ve uttered nary 1 “we’re bored” all season long.)
