Halloween happiness with Pearachuting pumpkins

Disclosure: I’m a Pearachute ambassador (and stoked to be one). As such, I occasionally regale you with tales of kid-activity awesomeness, and the opportunity to get in on said kid-activity awesomeness. Although I’m compensated, all thoughts, opinions, and insanely sugared children are entirely my own.

Halloween is looming large, and if your little monsters are acting like, well, little monsters, have I got the energy (and sugar) burning activities for you! Everyone and their princess-glittered little sister knows that Pearachute has the best drop-in kiddo classes in town. But did you know about Pearachute’s terrific seasonal parties with a variety of their vendors? Read on:

Friday, Halloween Skull Making Party!

Easel Art Studio, as my kids can attest, is a reallyreallyreally fun place to get your craft on. Their skull-making party will be no exception. Good for all ages, your revelers will get to decorate and personalize what’s sure to be the coolest new part of your Halloween decor. (Seriously, the projects kids take home from this place? Mantle-worthy.) Treats and goodie bags provided, costumes optional, and you can choose which part of the time slot works best for your fam! (Allow at least 45 minutes; you really can’t rush a masterpiece.) Join the wait list here!

Friday, October 28th, 2016 at Easel Art Studio, 1911 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, 2-6pm

(Suzy apparently took this photo on my phone some time in the last week. Isn’t that kind of fantastic?)

Saturday, Boo-tastic Halloween Party!

At Half-Pint Shop, even the adults are allowed (and encouraged!) to don a costume and join the fun. Pumpkin-decorating and crafts for kids big and small will get ’em in the store, and the special discount to the shop (just for showing up for the party!) will keep you there long after the gourds have dried. Sign up here!

Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at Half-Pint Shop, 3756 N. Ashland Ave., Chicago, 10-11am

Sunday, Trick or Treat at LBC, Evanston!

The place where your kid wants to hang out anyway is the place they’ll definitely want to haunt on the day before Halloween. Trick-or-treating in the playroom, snacks and pizza, music, and a costume contest all add up to the perfect way to ensure a great night’s sleep before the Big Night itself. (Pearachute reservations include one kiddo, but siblings can be added for $15 each.) Secure your spot here!

Sunday, October 30th, 2016 at Little Beans, 430 Asbury Ave., Evanston, 4-7pm

And friends, this is just a smattering of the haunted happenings going down around town this week. Check it out for yourself (and your little pumpkins). Not a Pearachute member yet? Never you fear: Use the code KEELY3 at checkout between now and October 31st at midnight to get a 3-class package FOR THREE DOLLARS.

Have a frighteningly wonderful Halloween, pals. (Save me some Charleston Chews.)
