Rockets of Awesome= Spring play clothes!

Apparently, my kids are thinking Spring. How else to explain the abundance of rainbows in our wardrobe, courtesy of Rockets of Awesome? You know the saying “wear your heart on your sleeve?” ‘Round here, it’s “wear your rainbow across your entire being.” (I’m a fan.)
I tried an experiment with my kiddos this month- I let them choose their own clothing from Rockets of Awesome’s newest, super soft play clothes. Two items apiece, and not once would I mention anything about matching or seasonal appropriateness or how often they’d actually wear the dang thing.
Turns out, they’re really good at this. (Or Rockets of Awesome is. You be the judge.)
Nora chose the Rainbow Crazysoft Crew and the Comfy Skinny Jean (in Fairy Pink!), with cheerful results. And considering that these days she’s edging into jogger sweatpants and plaid flannels with a suspiciously college-esque bun atop her head, I’m loving the heck out of this color palette.
Without even asking what her sister chose, Suzy aimed directly for the Secret Mermaid Tee and the Rainbow Hue Legging. (The latter of which surprisingly jives with multiple items in her wardrobe. Who’da thought “rainbow” could be considered a neutral? Suzy.)
I thought it would’ve been too much to hope for to have three outta three go for completely jiving outfits, but Jasper made my day when he picked the Rainbow Bolt Tee and the Neon Pop Fleece Jogger (which matches the sweatshirt he loved from last season’s bundle)!
