Wilted, Hoardy, Flowers In The Attic.

It’s Week 3 of our 5 Week Go East, Young Family jaunt…

So we dug out my parents’ attic. My oldest sister and I were in charge of the demo- er, organization. Here are some Big Dig highlights (keeping in mind that Kate and I were, quite possibly, left alone in a blazing hot attic for a tad too long):

attic 1

Our sister Rachel’s worst case scenario of using marijuana (as seen in her D.A.R.E. journal)? Getting high.

attic 2

Kate used to wear these sunglasses unironically. A lot.

attic 3

WE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WE WERE JEWISH!!

attic 4

The D.A.R.E. memorabilia is off the hook.

attic 5

Kate regularly steals things from the Stop n’ Shop. Here’s proof.

attic 6

I have my doubts.

attic 7

Rick and his family are some of our dearest friends. So good, in fact, that we keep them in our attic.

attic 7

I mean, really.

attic 8

Timely.

attic 9

Kate told me to stop being such a baby but I DON’T SEE HER HOLDING THE POSSESSED DOLLS, NOW DO I?

attic 10

I’m a mage.

attic 11

So is Kate. But not really.

attic 12

What the hell is happening up here.

attic 13

Oh, thank God. Found it’s head.

attic 14

Kate’s ready to go be a tourist. (…in 1985.)

attic 15

Monies.

attic 16

And if our coffee table book had a cover, this would be it.
