Peace out. (For a tiny bit, I swear.)

You may have noticed that I didn’t post yesterday. You may not have noticed that I didn’t post yesterday. (And to you I say- we all know what we all know, but I know that you need to know different things.)

So! Happy November. October is- and was- a wonderful month, full of birthday DAYS and birthday parties (times three), Halloween parties (times two) and that pesky ol’ thing called Actual Trick or Treat. I am a great celebrator.

But I am a tired celebrator.

So I’m planning on taking a couple of weeks off from the blog, which will free me up to get our household back in order (while still writing for the lovely people who pay me, and hanging out entirely too often on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Spotify, and the downstairs blanket tent). Maybe I’ll feed the children, too.

Because right now we’re a little too like this:

Halloween1

Which I can handle. But when we start looking like this:

Halloween2

It’s household timeout. You know?

Smooches from a safe distance (because someone in this home is a little snarfy and it would be great if we could contain that nonsense),
