Ramping Up To 2 (And A Recap).

Friends, we are entering Birthday Week for one Miss Susannah Zuzu Suzy Mae MonkeyGirl.

And everyone knows that “2” is a mammoth birthday. Much bigger than “1.” Especially when one is about to turn “2.”

This past weekend, little missypie Zu was lucky enough to celebrate with our Cincinnati family- which just so happens to include her godmother. I mean, REALLY. So there was cake. And cupcakes. And Winnie the Pooh figurines.

And her Nat Nat made French-inspired sherbet pineapple desserts o’ awesome (and clad her in the most chic of chic outfits from a recent trip to Europe)…and everyone else just spoiled her, hugged her, and told her how completely awesome she is.

Trying her darndest.

Little help here, Dad?

lollyparty3

No really, give it a try.

It’s cool, Aunt Dorrie is fixing everything.

Yeah, “2” will do just fine.

And remember how awesome last week’s recap was? I had such a good time pulling together my web shenanigans that I promptly forgot to do it on Thursday. Ha HA.

So.

My weekend recap on Monday included eating way too many apples in Indiana (and gallivanting with some purty cute farmhands).

Monday also showcased my crazier (and more vocal) side over at Families In The Loop.

Tuesday: The gals and I got to see the cutest show in the history of ever- The Teddy Bear’s Picnic at Emerald City Theatre’s Little Theatre. Have itty bitties in Chicago? Read my review at The Little Style File and then definitely go see this one.

On Wednesday, I wrote a stunning (mini) piece of theatre which I mentally called My Daughter Nora Has Her Own Rules 24/7.

I dated my husband again. In Logan Square this time. Books were involved. As were non-surreptitious photos of ridiculously good food. And I blogged about it on Thursday.

Friday brought my Radio Flyer Ride & Stand, Stroll n’ Trike review for The Little Style File…which even includes a giveaway for said awesome trike. Go get ‘un.

Have a happy Monday, everyone. Rock it out like it’s your second birthday.

Take a midday nap.
