Wednesday Roundup: Dance, play, watch, and create.

Apparently I’m bringing back the round-up:

(Apparently there’s way too much to do in this town.)

Guys- you’re not too late! Take your littles to (our favorite place) Pickle’s Playroom to see (our favorite peeps) The Play Cafè join in on the interactive Radio Party! This super-duper music and storytelling duo of Linda and Brad (which you might remember from oh- lemme see- Monday’s birthday spectacular) brings the fun, the laughs, the dancin,’ and ohmyGAWD the subsequent naps. Cost for the performance is included in Pickle’s Playroom admission- and it’ll be a killer (of a kiddo-appropriate) time. Go there.

Halloween Masquerade Dance Party? Yes please. Duet Dance Studio’s fantastic event on from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st- actual Halloween– is part arts n’ crafts and part masquerade dance class. And for just $20 bucks a kiddo, the chance to play at this Latin and ballroom dance-focused studio is a pretty sweet way to burn off all that candy.

Can you believe it?!

And what have I been up to? Well, I’m been prepping my slacktacular Halloween game over at Moms in the Mix. If you’re a bit more on your game than I am, you’re gonna want to check out The Wishcraft Workshop’s costume series. (So, so awesome.) My Chicago Parent articles have been a tad theatre-heavy, which I’m totally not sorry about; this town has so many crazy/awesome productions going on at any given moment that it’s really, really hard to choose which ones to attend! (The struggle is real, people.) Here’s the exceptional Peter and the Starcatcher at Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook, and the round-up of my 6 top fam-friendly must-sees for the Fall. Start now. Do a few stretches in between. You’ll be fine.

You’ll be great.
